Installing the addon

Innstall the plugin with the following steps:

1. Download, install, and activate the free autologin links plugin from

https://wordpress.org/plugins/autologin-links/ (minimum version is 1.11.0).

2. Download the autologin links addon’s zip file, install, and activate.

Installing the free autologin links plugin

In order to use the addon, you first need to install the free autologin links plugin. If you already use the autologin links plugin on your website, make sure that you are running at least version 1.11.0. Then skip to section Installing the autologin links addon.

If you need to install or update the free autologin links plugin, you can either download and install the most recent version from your wordpress plugin page, or use the zip install file downloadable from https://wordpress.org/plugins/autologin-links/.

If you choose the zip-install, make sure to download at least version 1.11.0. You can download the most recent version of the plugin directly using this link:

Installing the zip file

Login to your wordpress instance as administrator and navigate to the plugin page:

Click the “Add New” button at the top of the page.

The “Upload Plugin” button allows you to upload a plugin as a zip file.

Click the “Upload Plugin” button at the top-right of the page and select the zip file you just downloaded to upload and install the autologin-links plugin to your website.

The plugin should appear in the list of installed plugins on the Plugins-page:

The plugin was installed successfully and appears in the list of installed plugins.

Click the “Activate” button to enable the plugin and you can now use the free autologin-links plugin.

Installing the autologin links addon

After you bought the autologin links addon you will receive a download link to the addon’s plugin zip file. Download the zip file and install it followin the same steps as explained in the section Installing the zip file.

After you activated the addon you should see a new Autologin-links menu in the admin bar:

The Autologin-links menu appears after correctly installing both the autologin links plugin and the addon.

If you encounter an error, the error will be displayed in orange text at the top of your page:

The orange text indicates a problem with the autologin links addon installation.
